Thinking about signing up my kid for Cuemath, but how's it compare to something like Kumon? My friend swears by Kumon but I heard good things about Cuemath's approach.

Cuemath focuses more on understanding the 'why' behind the math, with visual tools and stuff like logic puzzles. Kumon is super repetitive, which works for some kids but others just get bored. I think Cuemath is better for really building a strong foundation, not just memorizing.

Yeah, I switched my daughter from Kumon to Cuemath. Kumon was good for speed but she never really 'got' the concepts. Cuemath's one-on-one sessions and the way they explain things really helped her finally understand algebra, not just do the problems.
